What did that dream mean?

I had a very strange dream last night

All about getting something unexpected

It started with a phone call

Telling me my sailboat was ready for testing

What sailboat was my response

The one you ordered he insisted

I had no recollection of ordering it

But they had a signed contract

I was sure it was some kind of scam

To get money from me

There was no demand for money

It had all been prepaid

I went to the boatyard to see it

A beautiful white sailboat

Big enough to sleep six people

Fully equipped with the latest electronics

They took me on the water for a test

She handled like a dream

Which is kind of ironic

Because she was in my dream

I woke up feeling confused

Wanting to know the meaning of it all

I researched dream meanings

There was nothing exactly like this listed

I did discover the meaning of sailing dreams

I have the freedom to take a long trip

And I can solve very complex problems

Using the power that shifts us all

So now I have a very complex problem to solve

What is the itinerary for my round the world trip

Who can I get to prepay this for me

I am waiting for the surprise phone call in my next dream

every night ends with a dream

each day starts with waking up

every day is a different journey

a winding road with steep climbs

the straight and narrow path

floating slowly down a meandering river

fast descending down a steep mountain slope

a bumpy ride over a rough trail

stuck in heavy traffic with no movement

carrying a heavy load

stuck in reverse and going backwards all day 

totally lost in unfamiliar territory

meandering along a trail with spectacular views

a group hike with laughter and great scenery

wading  through thick sticky mud all day

zooming over the clouds in an airplane

stopping to pick up somebody else’s burden

feeling low and going nowhere fast

pedaling fast and feeling the wind on your face

pulling somebody else along with you

almost drowning in deep water 

walking on a sandy beach in bright sunshine

fighting sickness and going downhill fast

standing still and watching everybody else run around in circles

endless ups and downs on a rollercoaster ride

struggling against the wind in a heavy storm

recovering from sickness and crawling back steadily to good health

moving along fine then halted by an unexpected collision

treading slowly and carefully in total darkness

being pulled along by somebody else

every day ends with falling asleep

followed by the ultimate journey in your dreams
