Is finding lifelong happiness simpler than rocket science?

I grew up fascinated by mathematics

Wrestling with trigonometry questions

Stretching my brain with complicated equations

Navigating a maze of problems to find the value of X

I have long thought about applying mathematics to life

Solving the equation for lifelong happiness

After a lot of research I derived some simple equations

Imagine you had this question to answer in a test

Given that External – X = Eternal

And Eternal multiplied by X = Eternal X

Using the above two equations

Determine what X is

Of course the answer is simple

X = love

Eternal love is what all humans strive for

But how can you get there

If you are struggling to find love in your life right now

Simply think back to your childhood

Remember that feeling of being loved as a child

That is the X you got from an External love source

Once you rediscover that loving feeling

Start smothering yourself with it

Keep hold of that X and never let go of it

You will feel so much better after loving yourself for a while

Your life will improve with all that love inside you

The world around you will be a truly beautiful and magical place

Spreading that X to others will soon follow naturally

Make yourself a promise to love yourself forever

By multiplying  X with your present and your future

You will have Eternal X

Eternal love = lifelong happiness

Not so complicated really

Certainly not rocket science

Spread the word

Mission accomplished

Sometimes words are not enough

He gave up talking

When she stopped listening

Holding her tightly in his arms

A strong manly bear hug

She made no attempt to escape

Melting into him

She released the grip on her imprisoned emotions

Directing her feelings to the door of freedom

At first it was a gently cry

Shedding tears with jagged breaths

Growing steadily into a sobbing wail

Interrupted by short sharp intakes of gasping breath

She became a limp rag doll

Unable to stand without his support

Her whole body shook as she cried

The wailing slowly subsided

Replaced by labored heavy breathing

Her emotional prisoners had all escaped

Strength gradually returned to her limbs

She supported her own weight again

Her arms clung tightly to him

He relaxed the strength of his bear hug slightly

Suddenly he was the captive

She would decide when it was time to untangle

Her cold tears soaked his right shoulder

She lifted her head briefly

Softly brushing the tears from his wet shirt

A ceremonial apologetic gesture

Its Ok he whispered to her

She pulled back but still gripped him tightly

Their eyes locked onto each other

Peering into her soul

His eyes launched missiles loaded with hope

Drilling into the depths of her despair

She made no attempt to evade the onslaught

It was a direct hit

Missiles exploded on impact

Her hope tanks were fully replenished

She acknowledged receipt

With a slow blink

Mission accomplished

How do you know if you are in love with her?

your heart skips a beat when she walks in the room

you smile when you hear her voice on the phone

you dream about her

she annoys the hell out of you but you still want to be with her

you get sad when she is sad

going for a walk is more fun when she is with you

when you are apart, even for a day, you really miss her

when she is not there you want to talk about her

her constant happiness is your goal

you both keep exploring new things together

her quirkiness is fun

you feel full of hope

she lets you feel free

everything reminds you of her

you are willing to change things about yourself for her

you are totally honest with her

she makes your favorite dish exactly how you like it

you don’t worry about the future

random thoughts of her pop into your mind

if reading this makes you think of someone special then you are in love

I love ice cream

I love ice cream

On a hot day

On a cold day

On a wet day

On a dry day

On a windy day

On a lonely day

On a happy day

On a Monday

On a slow day

On a sad day

On a special day

On a Tuesday

On a me and you day

On a no work day

On a Saturday

On a play day

On a do nothing day

On a celebration day

On a Friday

On a recreation day

On a save the nation day

On a temptation day

On a decoration day

On a scintillation day

On a Saturday

On any day

I love ice cream

What does it mean

A red balloon

Heart shaped

Helium filled

String attached

Valentines gift

Clings to ceiling

Defying gravity

String hangs down

Does it mean

your love

Will fly away

When unattached

Does it mean

She tugs on

Your heart strings

Very very lightly

Does it mean

Those without balloons

Are unloved

And unwanted

Does it mean

She loves red

Gas filled

Plastic bags

Does it mean

You were duped

Into purchasing

Commercialized junk

It does mean

No respect

For the environment

Discarded balloons kill animals

Tears chasing raindrops

her face was at the window

watching the rain gently fall

counting the raindrops on the glass

watching them slowly slide down

she wished you were inside one

wondering why it all went wrong

wishing she could turn back time

suddenly your face appeared in a raindrop

pressing her hand to the window

hoping you would feel her love

praying you would stay a while

she watched you slip away

her tears chased after you

you never looked back

she had lost you forever

Gravity and love

we take gravity for granted

gravity makes objects fall towards earth

gravity keeps your feet on the ground

gravity maintains the earth in an orbit around the sun

but how does gravity work

what makes two distant objects attract each other

science defines gravity as a force

I want to know what generates that force

love is an invisible force that brings two people together

love makes you feel attracted to another person

the closer you get the stronger you feel it

love keeps many couples together for a lifetime

everybody has an infinite supply of love to share

children thrive on love

it feels good to give it out

and you feel ever so happy when you receive it

so now I understand it all

gravity is love

love is gravity
